On the ground in China · Based in Guangzhou
Your goods from China
— by someone who's on the ground.
I sit in the Pearl River Delta, where a large share of the goods for the German market is made. Tell me what you need — I find the manufacturer, negotiate, check and arrange the shipment.

Who this is for
Who this is for
You want to buy a product from China but do not have a supplier yet.
You currently buy through an intermediary and want to go straight to the manufacturer.
You have no time and no staff for factories, samples and quality questions.
You want one contact person in German — without time zones and language barriers.
A German in China sources for you — including the checks, because he knows what to look for.
The route
The path to your goods
Seven steps I walk for you. Every step is documented — you see where your order stands without having to ask.
Requirements
What you need
We clarify the product, specification, quantity, target price and schedule. You need no prior knowledge — just an idea of what should arrive at your door.
Selection
The right manufacturer
I identify suitable candidates and check each one in the Chinese trade register: does the company exist, is it active, is it registered as a manufacturer or only as a trader? Anyone who checks suppliers for a living quickly sees who actually produces.
Negotiation
Prices and terms
I collect quotes, compare and negotiate — on site and in the local language. Prices, minimum quantities, payment terms: you can always follow what you are agreeing to.
Samples
Check before it starts
I order the sample, check it against the specification and photograph it for you. Adjustments are agreed directly with the manufacturer — and reported to you in plain English.

Your order in view
During production I record progress: photos, dates, deviations. You see the status of your order without having to ask anyone in China yourself.
Inspection
Check before shipment
Before shipment I check a sample of the goods: carton counts, quantity, labelling — documented with photos you can verify. The quality check is a fixed part of the service, not an extra option.

Up to handover
I coordinate the freight forwarder and the documents until the goods reach you. You receive the shipment — and know what happened before it left.

Who does this
Who does this
“I go to the factory, check the goods and report in plain English.”
My workplace is Guangzhou in the Pearl River Delta. From here I organise sourcing for clients in Germany: finding manufacturers, comparing quotes, negotiating prices, checking samples, inspecting the goods and coordinating the shipment. Every step is documented, in plain English — from the first conversation to delivery.

Working together and costs
What working together costs
No price grid — sourcing is calculated per project. Here is how it works, openly.
- Calculation
- Sourcing is quoted per project, depending on product, quantity and effort. Before you commit, you know what to expect.
- Earnings
- Stated openly: my earnings come from the margin on the goods. We agree the range before the project starts — you always know what I earn from it.
- Payment
- Deposit when you engage me, balance before shipment. The payment route is agreed and documented in advance.
- First assessment
- The first feasibility assessment is free and non-binding. You find out whether your plan is realistic — before anything costs money.
- No contract without a call
- There is no contract without a prior conversation. And no ongoing fees.

Boundaries
What is not included
Honest collaboration includes this: clear boundaries protect both sides.
No customs clearance in the EU.
No product certification and no laboratory testing.
No legal advice.
No guarantee of defect-free goods — what is promised is the documented pre-shipment inspection.
What I do promise: inspection, documentation and an honest look at what I see.
Frequently asked questions
Questions that come up before the first call
What does it cost, roughly?
That depends on the project — product, quantity and effort. That is why there is no flat rate.
After the free first assessment, you tell me your expectations and I quote the project openly: you see what the goods cost and what I earn on them — before you decide. The margin stays visible instead of being hidden in the price.
An example without figures: a project with a sample phase, two factory visits and a pre-shipment inspection consists of the goods purchase, incidental costs and my share — each line item stated.
How long does it take?
Production times are set by the manufacturer, not by me — a standard product is faster than a custom development.
What I can promise is my response time: I reply to your inquiry within 24 hours. A schedule that fits your deadline is agreed in the first conversation.
What if the quality is not right?
That is exactly what the pre-shipment inspection is for: I check samples, carton counts and labelling before the goods leave the container, and document everything with photos.
You see what I see — before the balance payment. If something does not match the agreement, I raise it with the manufacturer before the goods are shipped.
Nobody can promise defect-free goods. What is promised is the documented inspection.
Do you earn money from the factory?
Yes — and I say it openly: my earnings come from the margin on the goods. You know the range before the project starts, and the quote shows what the goods cost and what I earn on them.
There is no hidden commission, because there is no commission.

The other path
Already found your supplier?
Then you do not need sourcing — you need certainty. Under China Supplier Check I audit individual suppliers at a fixed price: commercial register, factory visit, sample inspection, goods inspection.
